Frequently asked questions

Why is there standing water in my dishwasher?

Check and clean the filter at the bottom of the tub first. If the water is still there, the drain hose, air gap or drain pump is likely blocked or failing.

Why are my dishes cloudy or gritty?

Hard water minerals and a dirty filter are the usual causes. A technician can check the spray arms, filter and water inlet and recommend how to prevent buildup.

Do you install dishwashers too?

Yes. Call us to discuss installation for your kitchen.

Is it worth repairing an older dishwasher?

Dishwashers typically last about 9 to 12 years. If the problem is a common part such as a pump, latch or gasket, repair is often worthwhile. We'll tell you plainly if replacing makes more sense.
