Many Sub-Zero models run two separate cooling systems, so one side can fail while the other keeps working. Common causes are an evaporator fan, a defrost problem or a failing sealed-system part on that side.

Refrigerator running constantly or feels hot at the top

Built-in models have the compressor and condenser at the top behind the grille. A clogged condenser makes the system work harder and can shorten its life. Cleaning it is a quick part of most service visits.

Ice maker not making ice

Usually a water inlet valve, a frozen fill tube, a clogged filter or the ice maker module itself.

Water under the unit or frost buildup

Often a clogged defrost drain or a door gasket that no longer seals. On a large built-in door, a worn gasket lets in a lot of warm air.

Wine storage not holding temperature

Temperature swings in a wine unit are usually a sensor, fan or control issue. We check it before your collection is at risk.

How a Sub-Zero repair works

Diagnostic visit. A technician inspects your Sub-Zero appliance, finds the cause and gives you a written quote. The visit is $99.
You approve the repair. The $99 is waived. If a part has to be ordered, you pay 50% so we can order the part for your exact model.
We complete the repair. Once the part arrives, we install it and test the appliance with you.
You pay the balance. The remaining 50% is due only after the appliance works. Most repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty.
