Burner lights then goes out
Bertazzoni burners use a flame safety device. If the flame goes out when you release the knob, the thermocouple or its position near the flame is often the cause.
Burners won't spark
A wet or dirty igniter, a worn switch or the spark module.
Oven not heating
On gas ovens, the oven igniter or safety valve. On electric ovens, an element or thermostat.
Oven temperature uneven
A convection fan, a sensor or a door seal letting heat escape.
How a Bertazzoni repair works
- Diagnostic visit. A technician inspects your Bertazzoni appliance, finds the cause and gives you a written quote. The visit is $99.
- You approve the repair. The $99 is waived. If a part has to be ordered, you pay 50% so we can order the part for your exact model.
- We complete the repair. Once the part arrives, we install it and test the appliance with you.
- You pay the balance. The remaining 50% is due only after the appliance works. Most repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty.

Why does my Bertazzoni burner go out when I let go of the knob?
Holding the knob keeps gas flowing while the safety device heats up. If the flame dies on release, the thermocouple or its alignment usually needs attention.

Are you a factory-authorized Bertazzoni service center?
No. AT Appliance Repair and Maintenance is an independent repair company. If your Bertazzoni appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, contact Bertazzoni first, because work by an independent company may not be covered by that warranty.

Every repair starts with a $99 diagnostic and a written quote for parts and labor. If you go ahead, the $99 is waived. Most repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty. When a part has to be ordered, you pay 50% when we order it and 50% once the repair is done.
